Snakes Alive
Snakes at the library,oh my! Come and join us on Thursday, June 11 at 1:00pm for a spine-tingling encounter with a snake. Mr. Dean Johnston from the Forest Park Nature Center will be here with his favorite reptile, a snake. He will present an on hands demonstration about the world of snakes. How they are beneficial to our life, the myths and physiology of snakes. Participants will have an opportunity to see what a snake feels like and see a snake shed ( snake skin that has been shed). This program is open to all age groups, so come on and all, if you’re not too afraid. For more information or to register for this program call the library at 815-496-2031 or visit our new website at rwrlibrary.org
