News & Announcements
Take the opportunity to read and discuss the book that inspired our winter reading program this year. Copies are available for check out at the Circulation Desk. Alice was in fourth grade when she and her father began "The Streak". Their initial goal was for Dad to read aloud to her for 100 consecutive nights. After reaching that goal they extented "The Streak", reading together every night until Alice went away to college - over 3,000 nights.

Sign up for a 15 minute time slot to read to one of the pets visiting our library that day. It is no secret that kids love animals. This is a great opportunity, especially for reluctant readers, to read to a non-judgmental audience while indulging their fascination with all things furry (or scaly). Please register by calling the library at 815-496-2031 to participate by Tuesday, Feb. 21.
